An Empowered Heart

A powerful moment of love and true empowerment –  captured in the streets of Mexico City during the women's empowerment march in March 2020. 

A large line of women from all walks of life came together to hold hands, in order to protect the women police officers from destructive, violent & angry protesters. Shouting “Sin Violencia” (*without violence) — these women risked their safety to demand peace in such chaos. A powerful example of true love and compassion — this is what feminism is to me.

Captured with tears in my eyes — this was an unforgettable & very deeply moving experience.
