Human and Societal Transformation

I drew this illustration during my time living in Mexico City in January 2020 – almost 2 months before I returned home to Canada due to the COVID 19 pandemic. 

At the time of drawing this, I did not fully understand what was being expressed through me. But as I now look back in retrospect, I can see this seems may have some fascinating parallels to the experience of isolation and transformation that has been brought upon individuals and society through this pandemic experience.
